Inspired by her community-centric roots, Rumin founded Chit.Chaat.Chai in 2010 to share the time-tested wisdom of Ayurveda. An avid learner, cook, artist and spice lover, she has experienced the benefits of Ayurveda and Unani medicine since childhood. This led to formally studying Ayurveda at the Kerala Ayurveda Academy in 2009. Since graduating she has continued to study with experts in the field. Deepening her knowledge to raise awareness of Ayurveda’s time-tested science rooted in sustainability. With a passion for cooking, spices, food culture, and prevention based wellness, with chit.chaat.chai she strives to broaden the conversations on holistic health, wellness, and prevention. With the hopes to foster having more of an agency on our individual, collective and environmental well-being. She currently serves as an executive board member for CAAM, California Ayurvedic Association of Medicine.
